Serving You, Serving Hinkler
I’m David Batt, Hinkler has always been my home. I am Bundaberg born and bred.
I was a police officer for 23 years before being elected to local and state government. Now I am proud to serve as your Federal Member for Hinkler.
Reducing the cost of living, taking care of our veterans and improving aged care are among my main priorities. There must be action on cutting red tape to allow businesses to thrive and employ locals. We need a safer community, cheaper energy options and affordable housing.
Representing the great electorate of Hinkler in Canberra is a privilege, not a right.
I will serve the people of Hinkler with honesty, integrity and compassion.
As a member of the Queensland LNP team I proudly sit in The Nationals party room in Canberra.
I’m committed to improving civics education and I will always fight for your fair share.
Best wishes,
David Batt MP
